Couples photos at Utah Lake

Taking couples photos at Utah Lake is always so much fun. The scenery is always changing with the seasons. This session was taken mid April so the weather was perfect. The snowcapped mountains made the view even better.

the walk to this spot from the parking lot was super quick and easy. If you’re in Saratoga Springs, Utah, I’m sure you know where this is. It’s a little hidden gem just past a few natural hot springs. If you haven’t read the last blog I posted at the hot springs, I highly suggest you go check it out.

I have been to Utah Lake many times in the years I have lived here, but this is the first time we found sea shells so we used them as a cute little prop.

We walked the shoreline for a little longer until the sun started to set. The wind started to pick up and the clouds started to roll in. This made for some really cool and moody shots. My favorite part about shooting in this type of weather is just having the couple embrace it. Let your hair blow in your face, cuddle in together to keep warm, and let the tears fall if your eyes start to water.

At the end of the session we decided to stop along the main trail where there is a cute path with trees on either side. The trees are finally starting to come back to life and it’s making me so happy!

And of course, we couldn’t leave without taking a few last photos around the hot springs.
