If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels romantic, timeless, and a little bit like you’ve been transported somewhere far away from Salt Lake City, Bellissimo Gardens at Tuscany is one Utah wedding venue you should have on your list.
Tucked against the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Bellissimo Gardens combines lush gardens, beautiful architecture, a romantic ceremony gazebo, and views of Mount Olympus all in one location. It’s the kind of venue where you don’t have to choose between a beautiful garden setting and the Utah mountains, here you get both!
As a Salt Lake City wedding photographer, I especially love venues that give couples plenty of variety without making the wedding day feel like a production. Bellissimo is filled with little areas to explore, which means your wedding gallery can feel varied and intentional while still telling the story of your day in one beautiful place.

This Utah wedding venue is located at 2832 East 6200 South in Salt Lake City, Utah, right next to Tuscany restaurant. The venue is designed around several distinct garden spaces, giving couples plenty of options for ceremonies, portraits, cocktail hour, and receptions.
The venue currently describes itself as an outdoor garden event space with room for celebrations of up to 200 guests, although the exact setup and capacity can vary depending on the spaces being used.
And if you’re planning an evening wedding, Tuscany notes that evening weddings from May through early October are hosted at Bellissimo Gardens, with the gardens and restaurant working together to create one cohesive wedding experience.
The setting is really the star of the show.
You have the Wasatch Mountains and Mount Olympus behind the property, while the gardens give you greenery, stone, water, pathways, and architectural details to work with. The result is a wedding setting that feels romantic and European without losing the beauty of being in Utah.
Some of the features throughout Bellissimo Gardens include:
That variety is one of my favorite things about photographing a venue like this. Instead of taking every portrait in one location, you can move through the property and create an entire gallery that feels like different chapters of the same wedding day.

One of the most recognizable ceremony locations at Bellissimo is the garden gazebo.
The gazebo sits within the gardens with Mount Olympus creating a dramatic backdrop, making it a beautiful option for couples who want an outdoor ceremony that still feels elegant and intentional. The venue specifically highlights the gazebo as a ceremonial structure and one of the property’s main photo opportunities.
For photographs, I love the idea of keeping the ceremony design relatively timeless and letting the location do some of the work.
Think: white or ivory florals + black tuxedos + a classic wedding gown + soft greenery + the mountains in the background.
If you’re choosing a wedding venue based partly on your photographs, Bellissimo Gardens gives you a lot to work with.
You can photograph your wedding portraits around the gardens, use the pathways and architectural details for more editorial portraits, incorporate the gazebo, and then pull the mountains into the photographs when you want something that feels distinctly Utah.
The property also has several smaller areas that are perfect for candid photographs throughout the day. The Enchanted River, bridges, garden pathways, Wishing Fountain, and Iron Forest all create natural opportunities for photographs without having to leave the venue.
If portraits are important to you, I recommend intentionally building time into your wedding. This will help prioritize them rather than trying to squeeze them in between everything else.
A beautiful Bellissimo wedding timeline could look something like:
Ceremony → family photos → wedding party → couple portraits → cocktail hour → reception
If you have more flexibility, we can sneak away for a few minutes later in the evening.
This is especially helpful at a garden venue because the scenery changes throughout the day. You don’t need to spend an hour taking the exact same photograph in one spot.

Bellissimo lends itself really well to a wedding design that feels elevated without being overly complicated.
If this is your venue, I would lean into what is already there. There’s no need to completely transform the property.
Classic black tie
Black tuxedos, floor-length gowns, white and ivory florals, candlelight, and simple stationery would look incredible against the greenery and mountains.
European garden
Think soft florals, textured linens, romantic tablescapes, delicate stationery, and an effortless garden-party feeling.
Timeless Utah
Neutral colors, elegant florals, classic bridal styling, and the Wasatch Mountains as the backdrop.
Modern garden wedding
Clean lines, a restrained floral palette, modern typography, and minimal but intentional tablescape details.
The gardens already provide so much visual interest, so your decor doesn’t need to compete with the setting.

One of the unique parts of getting married at Bellissimo is the connection to Tuscany restaurant.
Tuscany describes itself as an Italian-inspired fine dining restaurant at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, and its event spaces and culinary offerings can be incorporated into celebrations at the property.
That makes Bellissimo particularly interesting for couples who care about the overall guest experience — not just finding a pretty ceremony location.
Your wedding can have the feeling of an outdoor garden celebration while still being connected to an established restaurant and event experience.
For couples who love beautiful food, wine, thoughtful tablescapes, and an evening centered around their guests, that combination can make a lot of sense.
There are some venues that are beautiful in person but photograph relatively similarly throughout the day.
Bellissimo isn’t really like that.
The property has enough variety that I can photograph your wedding in a way that feels layered and complete. Your ceremony photographs can look different from your cocktail hour photographs, which can look different from your portraits and reception images — all without spending your wedding day driving from location to location.
And then you have the mountains.
That combination of garden + architecture + water + greenery + Wasatch Mountain views gives your gallery a very specific sense of place.
Your wedding photographs can feel romantic and editorial while still unmistakably looking like your Utah wedding.

For me, photographing a wedding here wouldn’t be about forcing your day into a list of traditional poses.
I want the photographs to feel like your actual wedding.
The little moments while you’re getting ready. Your parents seeing you for the first time. Walking through the gardens together. Your guests enjoying cocktail hour. The way the light changes over Mount Olympus. Your dress moving as you walk through the garden, your grandparents laughing at dinner, your first dance. The moments that happen when nobody realizes I’m taking a photograph.
I’ll give you enough direction that you never have to wonder what you’re supposed to do, but I’ll also leave plenty of room for the day to actually unfold.
My photography combines true-to-color digital photography with film, so your final gallery has the clean, timeless coverage of digital photographs alongside the softer, nostalgic feeling that film brings.
If you’re considering Bellissimo Gardens at Tuscany, I would start by thinking about three things:
Because the property is already so visually interesting, I would put just as much thought into the guest experience as the decor.
Think about the flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner, where people will gather, what they will eat and drink, and how you want the evening to feel.
If you already know you want portraits around the gazebo, gardens, or mountain views, tell your photographer and planner early.
That way, we can build your timeline around the photographs that are most important to you instead of trying to fit everything in at the last minute.
You don’t need hours of portraits.
But giving yourself intentional time for wedding party photos and couple portraits will allow you to actually enjoy the experience instead of feeling rushed.
And at a venue like Bellissimo, there are enough beautiful places to photograph that I would rather have a little breathing room than try to race through everything.
